Welcome to Kays Theatre Group
Worcester’s Favourite Pantomime!
We have staged successful pantomimes for our audiences in Worcester to enjoy each year since 1954 and we are proud to have received numerous local area National Operatic and Dramatic Association awards for our productions. Kays Theatre Group is a charity and it’s lasting success is made possible by the dedicated and talented people who give freely of their time as members. Thanks to the wonderful support of our audiences our efforts over the years have enabled us to support local and national charities and to provide an annual bursary for local young people to pursue training in the dramatic arts, details elsewhere on the website. Help us to continue this good work by being part of our audience for future pantomimes. We will do our very best to provide you with an enjoyable experience. Our next production of Little Red Riding Hood takes place 21st January – 31st January 2021 at the Swan Theatre Worcester. You are welcome to look round our website, view pictures and excerpts from previous shows, read recent reviews, contact us for more information and book tickets via our box office.
Our Pantomime Reviews
We would like to let you know how much we enjoyed the show last night. It was a great Panto and so kind of everyone concerned to do the show on a night they didn’t plan to do it on. We were disappointed when we first heard that it had been cancelled and thought we might not get to see it this year – we are very glad we did. We will look forward to seeing next years 60th Anniversary Panto (we would again like the same tickets on a Friday evening). My Mum (aged 76) and myself have been coming for many years now (we don’t need children as an excuse to come) and will look forward to seeing you all in 2014!Audience Member
Humpty Dumpty… specially written by Paul Milton was a huge success. A first class principal line up including local favourites Barry North “Queen of Hearts” and Paul Hutton “Knave of Hearts” were only two of the excellant cast. The Harlequin Dancers were wonderful as always. Paula Dymock who has trained them all won All England outstanding choreographer 2011. Costumes were top class as were sound and lighting and the band backed the whole show superbly. Thank you Kays for a fabulous fun filled night outNational Operatic Dramatic Society
Kays presented a wonderfully hilarious pantomime Humpty Dumpty. The show was professional with a huge P in every way. It was slick, smooth and excelled with the most synchronised, colourful dancing you would hope to see in any pantomime. The main characters were played with skill, energy and grear humour. The supporting cast were strong and tuneful and the whole show has outstanding choreography with even the panto horse dancing superblyAudience Member
