We would like to let you know how much we enjoyed the show last night. It was a great Panto and so kind of everyone concerned to do the show on a night they didn’t plan to do it on. We were disappointed when we first heard that it had been cancelled and thought we might not get to see it this year – we are very glad we did. We will look forward to seeing next years 60th Anniversary Panto (we would again like the same tickets on a Friday evening). My Mum (aged 76) and myself have been coming for many years now (we don’t need children as an excuse to come) and will look forward to seeing you all in 2014!

Humpty Dumpty… specially written by Paul Milton was a huge success. A first class principal line up including local favourites Barry North “Queen of Hearts” and Paul Hutton “Knave of Hearts” were only two of the excellant cast. The Harlequin Dancers were wonderful as always. Paula Dymock who has trained them all won All England outstanding choreographer 2011. Costumes were top class as were sound and lighting and the band backed the whole show superbly. Thank you Kays for a fabulous fun filled night out

Kays presented a wonderfully hilarious pantomime Humpty Dumpty. The show was professional with a huge P in every way. It was slick, smooth and excelled with the most synchronised, colourful dancing you would hope to see in any pantomime. The main characters were played with skill, energy and grear humour. The supporting cast were strong and tuneful and the whole show has outstanding choreography with even the panto horse dancing superbly

I was delighted to be offered a ticket for Kay’s pantomime (Humpty Dumpty). What a pantomime-that’s what I call a real old fashioned one. Congratulations to everyone who took part. Well done

Written especially for this production it was a modern panto with traditional sequences. All principals and ensemble played their parts well. Costumes were excellent (loved the Dragon), lighting sets and sound were of high standard. The production and performances were enjoyable and the Harlequin dance routines from both Senior and Junior dance teams were superb.

The costumes as always were simply wonderful and it was far beyond an ordinary professional pantomime.  All the Harlequin dancers were exceptionally professional and one cannot help but be moved by the very young ones performing and doing so well” (Beauty and the Beast audience member)

A rollicking production with many visual effects including superb puppet sequences and excellent dance routines by Harlequin dancers were much enjoyed and applauded. Old and new pantomime gags, plus quality sets, costumes,   lighting, sound and a great band accompaniment completed a night to remember

It has three amusing good fairies called Fairy Cake, Fairy Liquid and Fairy Nuff, all of whom gave great performances but I particularly like Katie Collins’ portrayal of Fairy Nuff – yeh but no but! The dame, Izzy Eckerslike and his son Willy Eckerslike both added to the general fun of the performance and the evil Witch Carabosse with her sidekick, a dragon called Dylan, also gave good performances. The musicality of the whole show, under the direction of Mat Jones, was excellent. The band provided a tightly executed selection of favourites across the decades and the chorus gave a harmonious support to the whole show.

I thought it was excellent…and it would be way up on the list of pantomimes I have seen over the years. It was a great production and there was not a weak link in the cast.

A superb production, excellent principal and chorus performances with top class dancing from Harlequin Junior and Senior dancers. The main roles were outstanding and the other principals gave them first class backing. First time I have seen a live giant on stage-hilarious. Costumes were fabulous, scenery, effects, lighting and sound enhanced the show. The band was excellent. The audience loved it and everyone left with a smile on their face.

I went to the pantomime this week and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kays Theatre Group presented Goldilocks and the Three Bears…..Dame Donna Kebab was superb although I have to say the whole show was excellent. It was all done by volunteers but to be honest it was better than some of the so-called professional shows I’ve seen in the past.

Well done once again to Kays Theatre Group for another excellent evening of entertainment. The costumes, colours, dancing and acting in this years’ production……made it a proper pantomime to be enjoyed by all ages. I do hope the producers of (named professional production) watched this production and learnt from it for their next one.
