Following the Group’s recent NODA award for best pantomime, rehearsals are now well under way for Kays’ next panto, Jack and the Beanstalk to be staged at The Swan Theatre, Worcester; 17-27 January 2019, directed by long-standing member, Tony Langford.

Box Office Manager, Carole Langford, related “For the second year running, I have received through my letterbox, an envelope full of cash with the request that this goes towards panto tickets for those in need.  We have used the money to pay for three recently bereaved families to take siblings of former patients of Acorns Children’s Hospice.  I have no idea who is donating the money, but, on behalf of the Group, I would like to thank them and let them know that their donation has been well spent and appreciated”

This family favourite show features Barry North as Dame Trott (pictured) with Oliver Roberts as Jack and Helen Willis as Lucy and Cath Skyrme as Fleshcreep.  New member, Matt Street is Simon, Gary Kimber plays the Squire, the Giant is Andrew Dunkley with Sue Cassidy as Fairy Blossom.  Daisy is played by Sally Smith and Judy Garton; members of the Kays’ company and the award-winning dancers from Harlequin Stage School.  Kays are delighted to have the talented Stephen Watkins as Musical Director again this year.

Tickets are, as always, very popular and selling fast.  To get yours, contact the dedicated Booking Office on 01905 425299 or 0845 355 3783.
